1. Product Description
It is a special peptone made from protein mixtures which have proteose, and is obtained under the precisely controlled production condition. It is rich in high molecular peptide, of which alanine, aspartic acid, glycine, phenylalanine, vitamin B complexes, pantothetic acid and riboflavin are very high. Proteose peptone is specially used in the culture medium of corynebacterium diphtheria toxin including identification of electrode reaction of toxogenic strain, as well as used in the culture medium of toxins of clostridium staphylococcus and salmonella. The culture medium have proteose peptone can supply abundant nutrient to numerous microorganisms’ growth, such as neisseria, staphylococcus, haemophilus, salmonella, pasteurella, corynebacterium, histoplasma, etc.
