The T5 High Speed Steel is known for High Tungsten-cobalt high speed steel. Its balanced combination of abrasion resistance, high toughness, high hardness (can reached 62~70Hrc) and high red hardness.
The AISI T5 steel contains 8% Co, which makes the high temperature performance and toughness better than AISI T4 high speed steel.
T5 high speed steel can work in Max 630 °C, Advice work below 600 °C.
As T5 tungsten-cobalt high speed steel, it is used in a variety of applications and worldwide it is the most popular high speed steel because of its superior qualities. As a result of its low carbon and high alloy content, T5 has an outstanding combination of toughness properties and abrasion resistance when correctly hardened and tempered. the AISI T5 steel contains 8% Co,which makes the high temperature performance and toughness better than AISI T4 High speed steel.

Form of Supply
AISI T5 high speed steel, we can supply the round bar, flat bar, plate and square block. Diameters can be sawn to your required lengths as one offs or multiple cut pieces. Rectangular pieces can be sawn from flat bar or plate to your specific sizes. Ground tool steel bar can be supplied, providing a quality precision finished bar to tight tolerances.

Applications
T5 high speed steel is the most widely used tungsten is a general type of high speed steel, high temperature hardness and red hardness and hardness is high, easy to grinding. Apply for working temperature below 630℃ can still keep the cutting performance of cutting tools, such as vehicles, shaver, milling, reaming, broach, drilling, gear cutting tools and tap, die, etc., suitable for processing soft or medium hardness material below (300 ~ 320 HB). And make high temperature abrasion machine parts.
