Power-Driven Wheel Brakes

DLZ series electric wheel brake is mainly used for the wind-proof when outdoor large/middle cranes and port machinery is under operating condition as well as the auxiliary wind-proof braking under the non-operating condition;Usually,it is only used on the drivem wheel and directly apply the braking, which can effectively prevent the braked wheel rolling and moving under the action of wind force.Wind-proof principle is same as YLZ,the different aspeet is that it is directly driven by electric power.

The power driven wheel brake is composed of a motor, electromagnetic clutch, gearbox, disc spring, and specially designed ball screw; An additional distribution control box (capable of controlling multiple brakes) is required.

Working principle: Disc spring applies force to brake, electric drive opens the brake, the brake holds onto the wheel, and the use of large wheels changes from rolling friction to sliding friction to increase frictional resistance and enhance the windproof effect of the equipment.

Main features: A new type of windproof product developed on the basis of the original hydraulic wheel brake. The entire braking system has the characteristics of easy installation, simple maintenance, green environmental protection, flexible control, durability, and fault diagnosis while maintaining the original hydraulic wheel edge braking system function and performance unchanged.

Main application: It is mainly used for windproof and auxiliary windproof braking of outdoor large and medium-sized cranes and port loading and unloading machinery in working and non working states.
