In the field of industrial stainless steel welding, in order to obtain high quality weld quality. A argon arc welding (TIG) process will be used. When the process is automatically welded, as the welding speed increases, the arc will be dragged, and the faster the speed, the more obvious the penetration, which will affect the welding quality.
As shown in Figure 1, there are undercut problems on both sides and inside of the weld, and there is a "hump" problem inside and outside the weld. Especially for industrial welded pipes, sanitary pipes, when the undercut problem is not smooth, it will cause residual liquid and corrode the steel pipe. It also causes stress corrosion points. Therefore, in the field of industrial welded pipes, in order to obtain high-quality welds, it is necessary to reduce the welding speed and ensure the welding quality.
