Tungsten Carbide ring is also called tungsten carbide (WC) alloy roll ring. Its hardness can reach HRA78~95 at room temperature.
The cold working methods of cemented carbide rolls are mainly turning and grinding, crescent milling (etching ribs), lettering.
The tools used for carbide processing roll are PCBN and PCD. Normally, PCBN is generally used for rough turning carbide rolls which hardness ≤ HRA88. PCD Tools are mostly used for finish turning cylinder, chamfering and engraving.
