Why choose Halnn Solid CBN inserts to process high-speed steel rolls?
(1) It needs long time machining each component, and need change the insert in the process which will affect the process efficiency.
(2) High hardness castings exist sand, stomach, white hard pot, ect defects, which lead to the insert chipping or damage.
(3) After adding materials(Spraying, Surfacing or laser cladding), the component surface hardness is high, which make it more difficult to machine, such as laser cladding mold, spraying tolls,ect.

Advantages of the BN-S20:
(1) BN-S20 material hardness is between HRC95-100, good wear resistance, long-time processing of high-speed steel rolls to ensure the quality of high-speed steel rolls;
(2) BN-S20 material belongs to the whole polycrystalline CBN tool, which can cut high-speed steel rolls with large margin or heavy load to improve production efficiency;
(3) In the process of processing high-speed steel rolls by BN-S20 material, dry cutting processing method is adopted to reduce production cost and clean production.
