Ceramic Foundry sand is made of high quality bauxite, which has been remelted and then blown into ball shape. Ceramic Foundry sand is a new casting material with high surface finish and good air permeability.
Advantages:
1. The fire-resistance of baozhu sand is higher than that of silica sand, and the filling compactness during molding is higher, so the surface quality of casting can be improved and the rejection rate in production can be reduced;
2. The spherical baozhu sand has good fluidity, and it is easy to fill the difficult parts such as inner Angle, deep concave and flat hole for the casting with complex shape.Therefore, the sand inclusion defects of these parts can be significantly reduced, and the workload of cleaning and finishing can be greatly reduced.
3, good crushing resistance, high recovery, the discharge of waste is also reduced;
4, small thermal expansion rate, good thermal stability, no secondary phase change caused by expansion defects, greatly improve the dimensional accuracy.
5, lost foam solid casting, resin dosage can be reduced by about 1/3.
