White corundum is made from fine alumina oxide powder and crystallized by high temperature electric melting. Its hardness is slightly higher than that of brown corundum with low toughness, high purity, good self-sharpening, strong grinding ability, low calorific value, high efficiency, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion and high temperature thermal stability.
The abrasive tools made of it are suitable for grinding high speed steel, high carbon steel, stainless steel and other fine-grained abrasive materials. In addition, white corundum is widely used in the industries of consolidated abrasive tools, coated abrasive tools, polishing, precision casting and advanced refractory materials.
Application:
1. For precision casting and high-grade refractory.
2. For bake lining , Catalyst carrier ,friction products
3. For pressure blasting hard abrasives; Refractory industry
4. For wet and dry blasting , grinding, lapping and polishing media
5. For abrasive tools: grinding wheel, Lapping and polishing non-skid title;
6. For bonded and Coated abrasives ,Thermal Spraying (Plasma Spraying)
