RUBBER GASKET – AN EXCELLENT MECHANICAL SEAL GASKET
Rubber gasket creates a seal between two parts. It prevents dirt, gas, dust or fluid from leaking out of or into its joining.
Rubber gasket is a mechanical seal. It has excellent compressibility, resilience, expansibility, anti-permeability and easy assembly and disassembly. So rubber gasket is widely used in aerospace, petrochemical and architecture industries.
In addition, rubber gasket are available in five common materials including EPDM, NBR, neoprene, viton and silicone.

EDPM GASKET WITH HEAT AND OZONE RESISTANCE
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is an extremely durable synthetic rubber elastomer. EPDM offers excellent resistance to UV, heat, ozone, chemicals, animal and vegetable oils and harsh weather. Stable in low and high temperatures, this material has a service range of -40 °F to 212 °F and is intermittent to 275 °F.
Because of its excellent performance, EPDM gasket is typically used for automotive seals and marine seals.
