API 16A Double RAM BOP for Oil Well Drill Operation

General of the Oil Well Double RAM BOP

The RAM BOP is shut in the well for oil testing, workover, well completion and operating process to prevent the

blowout accident, totally enclosed and semi-closed two functions into one. The oil well RAM BOP has a simple

structure, easy to operate, resistant to high-pressure characteristics is used to prevent blowouts safety oilfield

sealing wellhead.

Type of RAM BOP

The RAM blowout preventers are manufactured in accordance with API 16A specification and NACE MR0175.

According to the number of ram installed in each set:

Single ram

Double ram

According to the ram opening and closing method:

Manual locking BOP

Hydraulic locking BOP

Features of the oil well BOP

* Mode of Ram : Pipe rams, blind rams , variable bore ram and shear rams

* the bonnets is opened by hydraulic pressure.

* The outlets on the both sides of the body make the operation on site flexible.

* Type of locking system : the manual locking system and the automatic hydraulic locking system.

* The pressurized self-sealing sealing mechanism is used between the body and bonnets, so it's not necessary

to apply too much pre-tightening force to secure the reliability of sealing.

* it's very convenient to lift and transport the BOP with the four lifting rods.

* The new sealing mechanism of ram shaft secures the sealing reliability under the high pressure.

* The ring grooves of flanges are all lined with the corrosion resistant alloy.
