Centrifugal casting, also known as spin casting, is a method of utilizing centrifugal force to produce castings from a silicone rubber mold. It's a popular technique in the jewelry industry, as well as in the manufacturing of small metal parts that require high precision, such as collectible miniatures, fishing lures, and various components such as casted buckles and accessories for the leather industry and garment industry, imitation jewelry, promotion gifts, medal, and figurines etc from metals with relatively low melting points (such as pewter, zinc, and some low-melting-point alloys).
Spin casting is favored for small to medium batch production because it is relatively quick and cost-effective, requires less equipment investment compared to traditional metal casting methods, and can produce parts with intricate details.
Application:
It is used to produce casted buckles and accessories for the leather industry and garment industry, imitation jewelry, promotion gifts, medal, and figurines etc from zinc alloy or tin alloy.
