Hanger Hook Shot Blaster Machine Description

The shot-blasting machines type are the most versatile in terms of typical employment and size of the materials to be treated. In fact the customer can choose the size and loading capacity of the machine according to the parts to be shot-blasted. The materials are hanged on the hook, and this is manually or automatically transferred into the blasting room. Once in position, the hook starts to rotate on its axis and move back and forward in front of the turbines (mounted on one side of the machine). These combined movements ensure the complete shot-blasting of the parts external surface.

All Shot Blast Cleaning Machines include these basic design criteria:

1) Blast Wheel(s) - The wheel(s) propels or throw(s) the abrasive media.

2) Work Handling system - depending on the design type of machine this may be rubber tumbling mill apron belt, fixture of hooks or pockets, hanger with hooks, rotary table or tables, or pass-through roller or belt conveyor that transfer the work piece(s) through the blast zone.

3) Electrical System - The wiring, controls, and motors to power and safely operate the system.

4) Abrasive Reclaim System- Transfers the abrasive mix back to the Abrasive Storage Hopper.

5) Separation System - The method that the machine has to remove contaminate waste, broken down media or dust from the reusable "good" abrasive.

6) Abrasive Storage System - The storage hopper system that effectively provides consistent media to the blast wheel.

7) Ventilation System - The Dust Collection System provides negative pressure to the system to assure dust free operation as well as performs the pneumatic separation of the abrasive and waste mix.

Hanger Hook Shot Blaster Machine Operation

1. Start the fan of the dust collector.

2. Start the elevator, blasting wheel and shot supply valve in turn. 

3. Then lower one hanger hook, loading the workpieces. And the hanger hook go into the blasting chamber along the track. And close the door of blasting chamber.

4. The hanger hook makes the workpieces alternating motion and rotating to cleaning and strengthening the workpieces.

5. During this working period, loading the following workpieces onto the other hanger hook.

6. After the machine stop completely, open the chamber door, unload the workpieces. 

7. Then the other hanger hook go into the blsting chamber along the track.

8. Emergency stop switch is for emergency situation. The whole machine will stop immediately after pressing the button.
