Ⅰ. General Instructions for Scalperator
TCQY series Pre-cleaner is a newly developed general grain processing equipment, using double straight cylinders. The cylinder obliquity is adjustable according to the consumer’s requirements. It has large capacity, high efficiency, small power consumption, and good cleaning effect, running stably, low noise and other advantages. So it is widely applied in big and medium-sized oil, sugar, alcohol, medicine, starch, feed and grain processing enterprises.

TCQY series Pre-cleaner is made up of transmission device, column, body and some other parts.
1. Transmission Device
The transmission device includes reducer, chain wheel, chain, the universal coupling and roller. One side of the cylinder is fixed on roller of the adjustable support, which can adjust the cylinder obliquity and keep it revolving. And the other side is connected with cross-axel universal coupling, which can change the rotary obliquity discretionarily.
2. Cylinder
The cylinder includes framework, griddles, gimbals joint, pulley, etc. Griddle can be taken down and easy to maintain.
3. Body
The frame, doors, grain and impurity hoppers and other parts make the body. The frame is welded by high quality square steel tube. The other parts are made by high quality steel sheet. The whole body is beautiful, firm and practical.
Ⅳ. Operating Principle and Process
1. Operating Principle
The operating principle is using different sizes between grain and impurities to separate them. By selection in the continuous revolving cylinder, the big and the small impurities are separated, which is bigger than the inner griddle hole or less than the outer griddle hole. Inlet scoop is set up to avoid the dust running out of the cylinder, in order to have complete and effective clearing for the material.
2. Operating Process
The grain runs into the inner cylinder from the inflowing hole and is selected during moving forward. The grain and the small impurities fall into the outer cylinder from the inner griddle hole. The big impurities are left in the inner cylinder and then moves to the big impurity hopper. And the small ones fall from the outer cylinder from its holes and then are gathered in the small impurity hopper. The grain left in the outer cylinder runs into the grain hopper. And the light dust is sucked from wind hole.
Ⅴ. Operation and Maintenance
1. Check up if there is any loosened or damaged part during the transportation. Renew them before installation.
2. Keep enough empty space around the equipment to ensure operating and maintaining easily.
3. Keep the device body horizontal during installation. And then weld four legs or firmly fix the body with a stable platform by expansion bolts
4. Refuel the reducer and other transmission device.
5. Commissioning: no-load running for 1-2 hour to ensure the cylinders stable, with no abnormal noise, no jumping, no impact, no friction. And load grain gradually after the final confirmation.
6. Strictly insist on the operation procedure. Load grain gradually after the device works normally. Please stop loading firstly and then stop the device until the grain in the cylinder is transported totally.
7. The device for adjusting cylinder obliquity:
The cylinder obliquity has been adjusted before delivery. But if you need, there are two adjusting methods. One is to loosen the locknut on the support by spanner and move the support up and down until it reach the right height and then tighten the locknut. The second method is to raise the cylinders off the adjustable support and loose the locknut on the roller and move the roller support up and down until it reach the right height and then tight the locknut. Finally put back the cylinder.
8. Make the necessary inspection and cleaning work before and after the operation. Clean up the rope and other impurities on the griddle and the cylinder surface clearly.
