Ⅰ. Use, Performance, and Character of Bucket Elevator
TDTG series Bucket Elevator is the fixed continuous vertical transportation equipment and belongs to centrifugal unloading type. It is applied to transport grain, beans and other granular materials which are non-corrosive and a temperature below 60℃. Compared with other devices, our Bucket Elevator is really an efficient transmission device, with smaller size, better appearance, high capacity, better seal, and self-reliant.
Ⅱ. Structural Outline of Bucket Elevator
Bucket Elevator is made up of Head, Middle section, Seat, Transmission Device, Belt, Buckets, etc.
1. Head: The head-wheel is wrapped by special rubber, which is used to enhance the friction. The head cover includes the front and back two parts. The inspection door is opened at the front part. Power spreads from the reducer to the head-wheel axle by the chain. A ratchet device is installed to prevent reverse running when the elevator stops suddenly.
2. The middle section, welded by cold-reduced sheet, has excellent intensity and tightness.
3. Seat: hopper can be installed on both sides under the technological requirements alternatively. Screw tensioning device is used to regulate the belt tightness level and correct deviation phenomenon.
4. Bucket and belt: the belt adopts the high strength nylon belt, which has low elongation, bearing high temperature, oil resistance and anti-skid effect. The bucket adopts plastic with light texture and strong quality. So it has a character of low-destroyed proportion and long operational life span. And it can also eliminate friction sparks, which could lead to dust explosion.
Ⅲ. Technical Requirements for Installation
1. NO more than 0.5 mm parallel error between the seat surface and horizon. No more than 8mm distortion error between the whole middle section and the vertical line. And the head and the bottom axletrees should be in the same vertical line and the distortion error should be no more than 7mm.
2. Check up before start
(1) Transmission chain with appropriate tension
(2) Correct circuit connections
(3) Reducer refuels according to the regulations
(4) Adjust the tightness of the belt
(5) Disarm backstop state of ratchet
3. Commissioning
(1) Make sure the direction of motor rotation is correct before commission because reverse moving is not allowed.
(2) Start for 3-5 seconds to ensure if there is deviation of the belt and unusual noise.
(3) No-load running to check and ensure the chain, reducer, axletree and other parts normal and no oil leaking.
(4) Stop when no-load running to observe the ratchet effect, there should be no invert running of the belt.
(5) If there is no problem after two hours’ continuous no-load running, you can make loading operation gradually and then work the full capacity after the final confirmation of all parts normal.
Ⅳ. Operation Notandum of Bucket Elevator
1. Wire-mesh grille is set up at the inflowing hole to prevent rope, thread and stones or other impurities into the machine. Strobe is set to control the flow capacity.
2. If any abnormal noise is found from the motor when starts, cut off power immediately and check circuit of motor.
3. Loading stop is not allowed. In case of an emergency or power cut, please close the loading door timely. And remove the grain stored in the seat before restart.
4. Listen and check the middle sections frequently at usual time. If there is any abnormal noise, stop and maintain it immediately.
5. Do not stop the machine before discharge the grain in bucket totally.
6. Keep the tension of belt properly set. Cut certain part of the belt when the screw tension device adjusts to the minimum level.
7. Check the buckets and their fastenings monthly. Damaged parts should be promptly replaced and the loosened should be promptly tightened.
8. Remove the materials left in the bucket if there is a long time stop of using.
