MEGATRO Met Masts

MEGATRO design, manufacture and install Met Mastsfor Wind Farms. These Met Masts are used at Wind Farms to collect thewind data at that particular location. The Met Masts are often put up inadvance of the wind turbines to ensure the location for the wind farmis appropriate.  

Onshore & Offshore Permanent Met Masts

Our Met Masts range from 5 metres to 300 metres high,they have a slim profile with efficient member sizes resulting in minimalvisual impact. These members have welded modules which provide quickinstallation and reduced maintenance. All our towers are designed to Chinese orother standard to meet the customer’ requirements and galvanized them with aminimum design life of 25 years. MEGATRO's design team analysed previous MetMasts designs and applied our new rounded structural members to our productrange, which in turn reduces wind disturbance to give more accurate data towind farm developers. 

MEGATRO can offer a full turnkey service to everycustomer from bespoke design right through to installation and commission.We have the ability for our in-house rigging teams to maintain your MetMast for it's complete working life and service our anemometer equipment whenrequired. We have a standard product range for the Met Mast market, butbespoke solutions are available upon request. 

Onshore Temporary Met Masts

If developing smaller sites onshore and ourpermanent Met Mast's are not what you are after, MEGATRO can provide smallertemporary guyed structures which can removed and re-used once your site hasbeen commissioned. These structures are smaller in size and could requirea larger area for guyed wires to be attached, but have the added benefit ofbeing able to be moved onto the next site you look to develop. All anemometer equipmentrequired can be attached to these structures and give developers allthe information they need to see how a site will perform. MEGATRO apply theresame design standards and innovations to this smaller product range  andagain offer a bespoke design if you require.
