Slotted Tubes for Candle Filter, Wedge Wire Filter Candles

Candle Filter is basically a polishing filter working under pressure. The filter works in surface filtration & Clean in Place filtration principle. The filter consisting of a number of candles arranged vertically inside a pressure vessel. Each candle consists of six nos. of slotted tubes arranged above a seamless tube with top & bottom compartment. The special contour of the candle ensures excellent backwashing/ blow back for cleaning the candle.

It is ideally suited for filtration, cake washing, draining & cake discharge. It is suitable for both direct filtration & precoat filtration. Using the candle filter unfiltered cake can be collected as a slurry discharge or as dry discharge based on the characteristic of the liquid & solid.
