Continuous Slotted Screen from Guangxing Company is manufactured by wrapping a shaped wire around an internal array of longitudinal rods. The wire and rod, generally made from carbon or stainless steel, are joined by resistance welding; screen sections usually are 20 feet long. Continuous slot screens are suitable for wells in relatively shallow, thin aquifers that are very prolific in terms of water production. These screens are engineered with a very small slot size, yet are designed to maintain the necessary open area to minimize frictional head loss. Advantages : Wide range of slot sizes available.
