1.Steel Grade: SA516 Grade 70, SA516 Grade 65, SA516 Grade 60, SA516 Grade 55. A 516/A 516M Standard Specification for pressure vessel plates, carbon steel, for moderate and lower temperature service.
2. Steel Dimension: Thickness: 6-300mm, Width: 1500-4020mm, Length: 3000-18000mm
3. Adopt Standard: ASME A 516/A 516M
4. Delivery Condition: Plates 40mm and under in thickness are normally supplied in as-rolled.
Plates over 40mm in thickness shall be normalized.
5. Chemical requirements:
SA516 Grade 55 Carbon 0.18-0.26, Manganese 0.55-1.30, Phosphorus Max 0.035, Sulfur 0.035
SA516 Grade 60 Carbon 0.21-0.27, Manganese 0.55-1.30, Phosphorus Max 0.035, Sulfur 0.035
SA516 Grade 65 Carbon 0.24-0.29, Manganese 0.79-1.30, Phosphorus Max 0.035, Sulfur 0.035
SA516 Grade 70 Carbon 0.27-0.31, Manganese 0.79-1.30, Phosphorus Max 0.035, Sulfur 0.035
6.Tensile requirements:
SA516 Grade 55 Tensile strength 55-75ksi, Yield strength min 30ksi, Elongation in 2 in. 27
SA516 Grade 60 Tensile strength 60-80ksi, Yield strength min 32ksi, Elongation in 2 in. 25
SA516 Grade 65 Tensile strength 65-85ksi, Yield strength min 35ksi, Elongation in 2 in. 23
SA516 Grade 70 Tensile strength 70-90ksi, Yield strength min 38ksi, Elongation in 2 in. 21
