Description:The sialon-bonded corundum product is a new type of sialon-bonded refractory used as a ceramic cup of blast furnace. The product is made mainly of metal powder and ultra-fine powder, sintered in vacuum nitrizing atmosphere. Featuring excellent high-temperature strength, good bulk stability at high temperature, high resistance to oxidation and molten iron corrosion, it is first used as ceramic cup of large volume blast furnaces. The sialon-bonded SiC product is made of high-quality SiC and appropriate amount of fine powder. Because of the optimum nitrizing-sintered process, it can nitrize so deeply that nitrizing ratio is very high in the central part of the large size brick. It features excellent high-temperature strength, high thermo conductivity, low thermal expansion, high resistance to oxidation and molten metal corrosion. It is widely used for large volume blast furnaces as well as ceramic and electromagnetic industries.
