Description:The foresterite brick is made of natural material with added additives. It is formed at high pressure and sintered at high temperature. It fetures high refractoriness under load and good resistance to high temperature creep. Also, it has strong resistance to corrosion of alkali metals oxide and sulfide. It is used as an ideal substitute for magnesia-chrome bricks in recuperator checkerwork of glass kilns. Mgo content of the high-quality magnesite brick is generally more than 94.5%, higher than general magnesite beick. Its physical property is also better. The product is made of medium-grade magnesite clinker or fused-magnesite clinker, formed at high pressure and sintered at temperature more than 1,700oC. It has high mechanical strength, strong resistance to alkali corrosion. The product is suitable to the harsh zones of hot work equipment in the alkaline medium environment.
