Self-punching riveting (self-piercing riveting, Self piercing Riveting) technology has the advantages of connecting different materials, high fatigue resistance, good sealing effect and impermeable function, easy to realize mechanization, small energy consumption, small use site and no pollution.
Technical principle and process: the press-side circle first downward movement to the riveting material preload, to prevent the material in the Rivet force under the pressure to the concave mold flow, and then the head downward movement to push the rivet downward piercing the upper material. Under the joint action of the concave die and the punch, the tail of the rivet is opened in the lower metal to form the bell shape so as to lock and achieve the purpose of connection.
