Sorbitol is a kind of non-sugar sweetener made from high quality dextrose by hydrogenation and refining. it has lower sweet than sucrose, and can`t be absorbed by some bacteria.
Advantage:
it has the good characteristics of better moisture retention, acid resistance and non-ferment.
Application:
1. food industry: chewing gum, candy, sweetened bean paste and cake etc for sugar free food.
2. pharmaceutical industry: as the excipient for processing Vitamin C, injection, humectant and stabilizing agent.
3. chemical industry: humectant for toothpaste, anti dry reagent for cosmetic, surface active agent
