Compressed Air Dryer

Desiccant
dryers are also known as Regenerative Desiccant Dryers and Twin Tower Dryers.
The compressed air is passed through a pressure vessel filled with an absorbent
media such as activated alumina, silica gel, molecular sieve or other desiccant
material. The desiccant adsorbs the moisture in its millions of pores, trapping
it. The desiccant can bring the dew point of water vapor in the compressed air
down to -40 degrees C or below.

Advantages of heatless desiccant air
dryers are they do not require additional utilities to regenerate the
desiccant. Long desiccant life, and a dependable design. Desiccant is
reactivated by taking approximately 15% of the compressed air and channeling it
through the regenerating tower. A disadvantage of heatless desiccant air dryers
is that they consume 15% of your compressed air.

Features & Benefits

    • Flow range of 5-3991 scfm (0.15-113 m3/min.)
    • 6~10 minute cycle (5 minutes online and 3~5 minutes regenerating)
    • Tower pressure relief valves.
    • Purge adjustment valve to control purge flow.
    • Purge exhaust mufflers for quiet operation.
    • Tower pressure gauges
    • Adjustable (5&10 min.) microprocessor sequence module.
    • Controlled repressurization
    • Fail-safe design : failure of power and/or pilot air causes the purge
      exhaust valves to close
    • Desiccant fill and drain ports for ease of desiccant replacement
    • Tower operating status lights
    • ON/OFF switch and power ON light
    • Standard designs deliver -40 degrees C pressure dew point
    • -70 degrees C pressure dew point option available
    • Dew point monitor, optional
    • Pre-piped filters and by-pass valve packages, optional

Custom
designs and electrical configurations, optional
