The tester consists of mechanical structure, hydraulic system and control system.

The control system contains PLC(Programmable Controller), data collection system, touch screen, displacement transducer , pressure transducer, power, printer and manual control system.

The hydraulic system works as the source of power of the machine.

Under the control of PLC, the side bearing tester is able to complete the test and compute out the stiffness of side bearings automatically.
