In the power transmission line project, high voltage refer to voltage refer to from 300KV to 1000KV (not including). In these project the towers must be designed to carry three (or multiples of three) conductors. The towers are usually steel lattices or truss, in direct current power transmission project come the name of High voltage DC transmission towers.

MEGATRO pioneered the development of HVDC transmission tower and has services as follow: 

·  Tower designs and prototype approval is done

·  Span calculations essential for tower extensions

·   Generating loading trees

·  Generating Electrical Clearance and Structural Outline drawing.

·  Structural Outline drawing will include Group Summary Table inserted in the drawing.

·  Structural Outline drawing will include the critical base reactions to be used in design.

·  A PLS-TOWER backup file for all necessary design runs will be included in the design submittal.

MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of every HVDC TOWER. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies. After fabrication all UHVDC TOWER are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. MEGATRO' UHVDC TOWER systems can accommodate a variety of cross-arm. MEGATRO also offers a wide variety of accessories and mounts.
