I. Apron Feeder

 

Apron feeder, a fixed feeder, is the accessory equipment for conveying machinery. This machine is used to convey materials to primary crusher continuously and evenly. It can also be used for short-distance conveying, especially for heavy, big and abrasive materials. Because of its working reliability in harsh conditions, such as in the open air, in damp environment, ect, apron feeder has been widely applied in the industries of metallurgy, mining, cement and building materials etc. This machine can be in horizontal or inclined installation, with max. inclination degree to be 25°. To avoid direct hit against feeder, storage bin is cannot be empty.

II. Characteristics

 

This apron feeder has been developed by our company for many years, and has its own characteristics. It is featured by more reasonable machine structure, easier installation, dismantlement and maintenance. This machine adopts the principle of two point support (add middle supporting point for mixed feeding), with one point put directly on crusher, which contributes to a simple layout and saves the foundation cost. The tail device adopts a special design suitable for rainy and humid area, which can avoid chain to be “jumping over teeth” as a consequence of wet and sticky material accumulating in the tail part. In the tail part, there is also a sleeper shock absorber; in the middle part, there are also a certain number of shock-absorbing roller supports, which can improve the stress condition when big materials impact idler wheels on both sides and trough plate, thus to improve the service life of operating parts. The head cover is specially strengthened, and the right and left part of lower cover can be separated, which will help lifting the rotor block of crusher without obstruction. The head driving chain sprocket is driven separately by odd-even gear, which will make service life twice lengthened. The head driving chain is cut into 3-disc teeth, therefore, there is no need to dismantle chain plate when user wants to change sprocket. Driving device can be combined according to user’s different requirements. There are planetary rectangular reducer combination, parallel axis reducer combination, planetary reducer combination, oil hydraulic motor automatic control combination. There are crawler type and roller type driving chain. Conveying trough plate is classified by single-circular-arc type (H type), double-circular-arc type (L type) and flat plate type (P type), which has features of impact resistance, abrasive resistance, no leaking and stable operation. Flat plate type is mainly used for sintering steel.
