1. Introduction of   Magnetic  Separator Plant

 

The magnetic separator machine is fitted with a magnetic system that is of high quality. The system is made of iron oxide and rare earth magnetic steel. The cylinder surface has an average magnetic induction intensity of 100-600mT. The machine can be custom made to fit the needs of the customer. It can be of co-current, half-countercurrent, counter current, etc.

3. Application of   Magnetic  Separator Plant

 

Magnetic Drum Separator is used to beneficiate a wide variety of industrial iron ores.  The magnetic separator is also processed in many other applications such as titanomagnetite production, removal of grinding media in e.g. ball mill discharge products, pyrrhotite reduction in sulphide ores, iron reduction in e.g. glass sand and feldspar production. It is also widely installed for removal of ferromagnetic matter ahead of magnetic separation process. 

 

4. Working Principles of   Magnetic  Separator Plant

 

magnetic separator is based on the different magnetic properties between the ore minerals to separate either valuable minerals from non-magnetic gangue or magnetic contaminants or other valuable minerals from the nonmagnetic values. After the ore pulp flow into the chute, the ore particles enter the ore feeding area separately under the influence of the water flowing from the jet pipe. The ferromagnetic particles get together and become magnetic floc on the magnetic field there. After that, the magnetic floc move forwards to the magnetic pole and stick to the rolling cylinder. As the magnetic floc and the cylinder rotate together, the magnetic pole rolls alternately, so the gangue and nonmagnetic particles will be agitated, and fall off to be discarged with the pulp.
