1. Brief Introduction

Rotary Lobe pumps are used in a variety of industries including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, pulp and paper, coating and painting, oil and gas, daily chemical, and biotechnology. They are popular in these diverse industries because they offer superb sanitary qualities, high efficiency, reliability, corrosion resistance and good clean-in-place and steam-in-place (CIP/SIP) characteristics.

Rotary lobe pumps can handle slurries, pastes, and a variety of liquids. If wetted, they offer self-priming performance. A gentle pumping action minimizes product degradation. They also offer continuous and intermittent reversible flows and can operate dry for brief periods of time. Flow is relatively independent of changes in process pressure, too, so output is relatively constant and continuous.

BV Series Lobe Pumps are self-priming, valveless, positive displacement pumps. The even rotation of the rotor pair creates a vacuum on the priming side of the pump, which can be defined by the direction of rotation of the drive. This vacuum draws the liquid into the pump chamber. With further rotation, the pumped medium is conveyed past the pump wall into the pressure area. Up to six chamber charges are displaced with each drive rotation depending on the rotor type. When the rotor is at a standstill, the pump seals off almost completely.

• Flange, screw, or clamp connection can be used, as required by the customer.
• Capable of pumping mixtures of gas, fluid, and solid materials.
• Heating & cooling pumps is of built-in structure, with well heat conductivity.
• Movable pumps can be used to pump canned medium, with intake vacuum of 0.08 Mpa.
• Hygienic safety valves can be set at the pumps head if customer required.

• Consumer chemicals: AES, LAS, AOS, K12, glycerol, fatty alcohol, bathing shampoo, skin cream, shampoo, detergent liquid, toothpaste soap, washing powder slurry, etc.
• Refined chemicals: Dyes stuffs, pigments, all kinds of pulp, chemical additives, adhesives, silicone oil, leather oil, a variety of colloidal materials, etc.
• Foods: Chocolate, concentrated milk, yogurt, honey, syrup, cane sugar, tomato juice, concentrated juice, jam, ice cream, milk, yeast slurry, meat slurry, jelly, condiment, lees, soybean protein, flour slurry, etc.
• Paper making: Polyacrylamide, calcium carbonate, starch paste, carboxyl poly, starch paste, rosin size, paper pulp, filling dry strength agent, wet strengthen agent, sizing agent, filtering agent, anti foaming agent, spreading, water treatment chemicals, etc.
• Chemical fiber: Pectic slurry, PVA, spandex slurry, vinylon slurry, Acrylic slurry, polyester slice, terylence, polypropylene fiber, rayon, functional fiber, etc.
• Pharmaceuticals: Glycerin, Ointments, extractum, medicine latex, pill paste, syrup, health care products, drugs, etc.
• Coating: Paint, dope, printing ink, insulating paint, resin, additives and assistants, organic solvent, etc.
