Product Description

FC-206 is a PLL synthesized 10-watt FM data radio. It is characteristic of its fast TX startup time and its low cost. Two-point modulation is applied in the radio. Embedded data modem based on CMX969 is optional, which can easily implement point to point or point to multi-point data or/and voice communication.

DB9 description
When there is a bridge board inside the radio instead of a data modem, DB9 definition as below table:

Pin 1 MIC
Audio input Modulation sensitivity 10-15mV Connect with the positive pole of the external MIC.
Pin 2 RFSK
Demodulation signal output 650±100mV when frequency deviation is 3KHz. DC coupling output. 2.5VDC@Norm temp, 1.5-3.5V@ extreme temp. DC should be isolated if not required.

Pin 3 TFSK
Modulation signal input 3KHz frequency deviation is available when audio input is 550mV. DC coupling input. When connecting with external data modem, if the input signal is AC coupling, Low speed option should be selected. If the signal includes DC (the voltage is 2.5V), high speed option should be used.
Pin 4 DTR
Data priority control -0.7~5.7V It can be programmed by software to choose high or low level to be valid. When it’s valid, the radio can only transmit data.
Pin 5 GND
GND
Pin 6 SPK Audio output 8 Ω /500mW The audio signal received by the radio will output by SPK after power amplifying to 500mW to drive an 8 Ω-speaker.
Pin 7 DATA_PTT
Data TX control -0.7~5.7V High level: Radio in RX status(default)
Low level: Radio In Data TX status
Pin 8 MIC_PTT
Audio TX control -0.7~5.7V High level: Radio in RX status(default)
Low level: Radio in Audio TX status
Pin 9 BUSY BUSY detect control -0.7~5.7V When the radio receives valid signal, it gives BUSY signal which can be specified with high or low level by software.
