Marine Gearbox Bearing 29418 is widespread dimensions thrust spherical roller bearings, also named self-aligning roller bearings as the type of bearing have self aligning ability as such will tolerate misalignment and deal with both axial and radial loads simultaneously. And these bearings can support very heavy axial loads and permit relatively high speed operation.

The rollers of these bearings are of spherical shape, and the spherical raceway surface of the housing washer is selfaligned. Spherical roller thrust bearings are featured by the extremely big axial load carrying capacity and meanwhile they can also carry cetrain radial load. Oil lubrication is commonly used while working. Applications of these bearings can be found in hydroelectric generators, vertical motors, propeller axle of vessels, tower cranes and squeezing presses.

Descriptions
Thrust roller bearings are separable bearings, can only withstand axial load and a slight impact, to limit the shaft (or shell) of the
axial displacement in one direction, it can be used as single-axis to the position. But its carrying capacity is far greater than the thrust ball bearings. Roller rolling, because the roller ends
of lines at different speeds, the roller raceway in the ring sliding inevitably arise, so such bearing speed limit lower than the thrust
ball bearings, usually only for low speed applications. Standard design thrust cylindrical roller bearings with machined metal solid
cage, according to user requirements, but also can be other types or material cage. Thrust tapered roller bearings can withstand
axial load, one-way bearing to limit axial displacement, it can be used as a one-way axial positioning.
Features :
1 The bearings are principally provided with two rows of symmetrical spherical rollers and a common sphere raceway in
out ring, the two inner ring raceways are included at an angle to the bearing axia.
2 The bearings have good selfaligning ability and can operate when the shaft deflection under load or the shaft deflection
under load or the shaft misaligning in mounting, and their permissible aligning angle is 1 to 2.5 degree.
3 The bearings have heavy load carrying capacity and anti-impact ability, in addition to radial loads, they also can carry axial loads in two directions
