Pneumatic Rubber Fender
Pneumatic floating fenders are an proven alternative to fixed fenders and are preferably used:
l In ports with extreme tidal variations
l For ship-to-ship lightering operations
l For all Navy vesels due to low hull pressure and the advantage of a proportional increase of reaction force and energy absorption
The fenders can easily be deflated which allows simple and cost efficient relocation and recommissioning in other locations. We supply pneumatic floating fenders in different types, colours and sizes as follows:
l 2 different inside pressure levels to cover a wide performance range
l Standard colour is black
l Optional chain/tyre net for heavy duty applications
l Diameters ranging from 500 mm to 4,500 mm and length ranging from 1,000 mm to 12,000 mm

Compared with traditional bumper style rubber fender, it has the following features:
l absorbing greater impact
l less reverse impact on the ships
l easy installation, more elasticity
l not being bent out of shape under pressure
l less weigh and practical and economical
So pneumatic fender has widespread application on oil tankers, container vessels, luxury yachts, ocean platforms, larges
shipyards, military ports and larger underwater foundations of bridges, etc.
