The Florescence Floating Pneumatic Fender is a type of rubber fender
with cylindrical shape and hemispherical heads at both ends, utilizing low air-
pressure inside in providing soft and superior ship-berthing performance.
Internal Initial Pressure:
Pneumatic-50 (50 kPa)
Duty Pneumatic-80 (80 kPa)
in accordance with ISO 17357
Advantages of pneumatic type fender compare with other fender type:
· High energy absorption with a low reaction force
· Light weight, portable and floatable, can be installed and replaced easily
· Heavy duty and long service life- over 10 years
· Supplied as sling type (body only) or with chain and tyre net for protection of the fender body
· Sizes from 0.3m diameter x 0.6m length up to 4.5m diameter x 12m length
· Suitable for locations with large and small tidal differences
Structure of pneumatic rubber fender:
1) Basic body construction of this fender consists of outer rubber layer which has
high tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and severe usage,
2) approved synthetic-tyre-cord layer for reinforcement at ideal angles to hold
internal pressure and distribute stress evenly,
3) and inner rubber layer which seals air inside using a compound equivalent to that of the
liner or tube of our own high quality-high performance automobile tyre.

Florescence pneumatic rubber fender has widespread application on ship to ship,ship to wharf, oil tankers,
container vessels, luxury yachts, ocean platforms, larges shipyards, military ports and larger under water
foundations of bridges, etc.
