Manganese Sand filter
Manganese sand is selected by natural manganese sand or manganese ore, grinding and sieving to various kind of manganese sand filter media. Rough appearance, brown color, can remove the Manganese and Ferrum in the water, very useful in drainage. The manganese filter media is rich of manganese dioxide, the user can choose it according to your need.
Manganese sand filter is black brown and near round, main ingredient is MnO2,its content between 35% and 45%.
For now, there’re two different theories in de-ferrum in water treatment via manganese dioxide. Firstly, use a so called film membrance filter, because oxidation take place in the surface of the manganese sand. Secondly, due to the catalysis of the manganese sand, it can transfer the Fe2+ to Fe3+, then absorb Fe3+ in the surface and make it deposited, this way the Ferrum can be removed and the water will be clear.

Natural manganese sand filter is a strong antioxidant , to oxidation ferrous up oxidation role in water , usual used in drinking water in addition to iron and manganese removal filter device, groundwater for removing iron and manganese purification of water use.
