Why we use ozone for Aquaculture?
ozone has strong oxidizability, it used in many industries for water purification. In the water purification of aquaculture, ozone oxidized ammonia nitrogen into nitrate, and reduces poisonous contents in the water. In sewage purification, ozone also quickly reduce its BOD and COD, and finally meet the purification standard.
Ozone only produces oxygen after decomposed, no secondary pollution, so it will replace chlorine dioxide as oxidizer and disinfectant. Theory of ozone generation is fairly simple, high controllability, unlike other substances are produce by chemical reaction and hard to control.
Diffusibility of ozone in the air or water is high, it makes thoroughly good sterilization ability. Mixing of ozone and water need certain parts to assist, half-life period is according the water condition.
