Application:
1. EDTA is widely used as bleaching fixative, dyeing assistant, fiber treatment assistant, cosmetic additive, blood anticoagulant, detergent, stabilizer, synthetic rubber polymerization initiator. EDTA Is a representative material of the chelating agent. And EDTA can combine alkali metals, rare earth elements and transition metals to form to a stable water-soluble complex.
2. EDTA is a kind of chelating agent that can combine with Mg2 +, Ca2 +, Mn2 +, Fe2 + and other divalent metal ions. As most of the role of nuclease and some proteases require Mg2 +, and it is often used as nuclease, protease inhibitors. EDTA can also be used to remove heavy metal ions on the inhibition of enzymes.
3. EDTA is commonly used in boiler water softening and prevent scaling.
