High Alumina Brick
High alumina bricks are of different shapes, which is widely applied for industrial kilns and furnaces in the field of metallurgy, machinery, chemical industry, electric power, building material, light industry, etc.
Features of High Alumina Brick:
a, refractoriness
Alumina brick refractoriness are higher than clay and semi-silica brick, which can be 1750 ~ 1790 ℃, belonging to high-grade refractory.
b, load softening temperature
Because high aluminum products has high Al2O3 content, less impurities, less fusible vitreous, so load softening temperature is higher than that of clay brick. While mullite has not formed crystalline mesh tissue, the load softening temperature is still not higher than that of silica brick.
c, slag resistance
there are more Al2O3 in high alumina bricks, which is close to neutral refractory, resistant to erosion of acid and alkaline slag, because it contains SiO2, so the resistance ability to alkaline slag is weaker than resistance acid.
