The main mineral composition of chrome corundum brick is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution. The secondary mineral is a small amount of composite spinel (or without composite spinel), and the content of chromium oxide is 1% to 30%. There are casting chrome corundum bricks and sintered chrome corundum brick. Under normal circumstances, chrome corundum brick refers to the sintered chrome corundum brick.
