1.Brief introduct
NBL TPI15 is a prepayment energy meter with IC card power-purchase and automatic meter reading. It complies with open standard and can operate under standard vending system from third parties.
Basic Functionalities:
Measurement:
Forward and reverse active energy measuring; Energy measuring in step or TOU (Optional); Measures instantaneous voltage, current, power, power factor and frequency in split phase.
Display:
8 digits of LCD display; Balance display configurable; LCD backlight to increase readability in low light conditions; Scrolling display configurable for instant information enquiry; Display the latest 6 months active energy consumption; 12 months billing data and more frozen data for inquiry; Display readable without main power(RWP).
Tariffs:
Tariff in step; Tariff prepayment, Switch out use up; Prepayment is made via a numeric token logged in the IC card; Prepayment and post-payment mode switchable for users' convenience; Balance alarming and surplus days available alarming configurable(Surplus available days alarming works only under step tariff), alarm value configurable; IC card can be made up at any time without any economic loss; Emergency credit for a certain sum of energy supply depending on user's credit level.
Demand:
Measuring active, reactive maximum demand and demand in TOU; Block or slide mode configurable.
Meter cover and terminal cover open detection and record; Terminal cover open alarming and switching trip, by pass; Large magnetic immunity.
Load Control (Optional):
Load limitation, overrun switch, timing auto power recover, alarm value configurable.
User-Friendly Mode(Optional): Support energy supply for low credit during weekends or holidays.
Pulse Output:
The pulse of the meter is sync outputted by LED and auxiliary terminal(Optional).
Real Time Clock(RTC): Built-in hardware clock circuit with temperature compensation function is adopted, with functions of calendar and timing.
Communication Interface and protocol:
Optical communication interface, RS485 Communication; Comply with DLMS and COSEM protocol.
