The Vertical Mill for grinding quartz is used to grind materials in the fields of construction, mining, metallurgy and chemical industry. The materials should be non-flammable and non-explosive. Examples of the materials are: quartz, feldspar, barite, fluorite, dolomite, garnet, carborundum, bauxite, zircon, marble, calcite, iron ore, rock phosphate, coal, ceram, slag and so on (400 kinds of materials). The materials should have the hardness less than 9.3 in Moh’s scale and humidity less than 6 percent. The granularity of the end products can be changed from 30 to 425 meshes.

Structure

A set of YGM Vertical Mill for grinding quartz consist of main frame, decelerator, powder separator, blower, jaw crusher, bucket-elevator, vibrating feeder, hopper, bag filter, pipe-devices, motor and electric control panel, etc.

Operation Principle

Firstly, raw material should be crushed by the jaw crusher to the size specified, then the crushed stuff is elevated into the hopper by the bucket-elevator, through vibrating feeder, evenly and continuously into the grinding chamber for powder-processing. After this, the ground stuff is carried by the air flow from the blower into the separator for screening. The finepowder is blown into the cyclone collector and are poured out through the output-powder valves as the final product and the rough stuff after the screening will be recycled back into the grinding chamber for regrinding. The airflow system is closely sealed up and circulated under condition of negative and positive pressure.

2. It has a wide range of adjustable output size, the biggest particle size can be 0.95mm (20 mesh), while the finest size can be         0.033mm (425 mesh), a small amount of the fine product can even be 0.013mm (1000 mesh).
