HU-01A db9 female RS232 to usb with PL2303 chipset details:
I. Summary
HighTek HU-01A is a universal USB/RS-232 interface converter. No external powersupply needed. Compatible with USB and RS-232 standards, HU-01A iscapable to perform the conversion from single-ended USB signal into UARTsignal of RS-232. DB9 male connectors are used for connection from RS-232interface. The unique I/O circuit of the internal zero delay auto transceivercontained in the converter controls the data stream direction automatically.
II. Performance parameters
- Standards: conforming to USBV1.0, 1.1 and 2.0 and EIARS-232.
- USB signals: VCC, DATA+, DATA-, GND and FG.
- RS-232 signals: DCDRXDTXD DTR GND DSR RTS CTS RI
- Industrial grade, adopt PL2303 master chip
- Working mode: asynchronous point-to-point.
- Direction control: adoption of automatic data streamcontrol for automaticrecognition and control of data transmission direction.
- Baud rate: 300-460.8Kbps, automatic detection of the transmission rate of theserial interface signal.
- Transmission distance: 5 meters for RS-232 and less than 5 meters for USB.
- Interface protection: +-15KVelectrostatic protection.
- Interface forms: USB A type male connector and DB9 male connector.
- Signal indication: 9 indicator lights for Power (PWR), Send (TXD) and Receive (RXD).
- Transmission media: twisted-pair cable or shielded cable.
- Working environment: -20℃ to 70℃ , relative humidity 5%to 95%
- Windows95/98/2000/7XP/Vista/Linux and IMAG are supported.
- Both BUS and external power supply are supported.
