The weir skimmer consists of floatable head, power pack and oil hoses between the skimmer head and the power pack. Hydraulic power pack works under the diesel engine which drives oil pump and change diesel power into hydraulic power. It is used to drive weir to run and adjust the weir in suitable position. Then the scraping slice can made the oil fall off and then collect oil to collecting-oil groove by oil-conveying groove. Finally spilling oil is collected to the oil equipment in sea shore.
This weir skimmer can be widely used on harbors, oil ports, wharfs, rivers, lakes, shipyards, ship-breaking yards, petroleum and chemical industries, power plants, wastewater treatment plants and other site where are oil spills to be recovered.
The weir skimmer is suitable for recovery of oil spills with low and medium viscosity. It can be used with our containment booms, for both containing and collecting oils at the same time.
