The rope mop skimmer is composed of skimmer body, hydraulic power pack and oil pump.
Hydraulic power pack works under the diesel engine which drives oil pump and change diesel power into hydraulic power to drive the motor of the skimmer. The motor drives the oil absorbing rope going up. The oil spill can be squeezed from the oil absorbing mope by rotating roller, and then to the oil collecting channel in skimmer body. Finally the oil pump transport the oil spills to the oil storage device in bank.
Features
- 1. The recovery rope is made of polypropylene rope mop which has good lipophilic property. After sticking oil, it can still have the lipophilic property. The recovery rope can float on water and move with waves and keep in touch with oil spills as the specific gravity of the recovery rope is approximately 0.9.
- 2. The operating temperature for the recovery rope is between -35 and 70℃. It can recover oil spills under the ice layer
- 3. During the oil recovery, it can move zigzag to absorb oil between the object and floating waste without the affection of debris. It can also recover oil spills from a narrow space such as deep pit
- 4. The trolley and hanging extruders are available for selection .The trolley skimmer is fixed on shore or boat, using the floating guide pulley and the long recovery rope to recover the oil spills on the water surface, the hanging recovery rope is hanging on the water surface where the oil spills are located .it’s simple to maintain and adaptable to bad conditions.
