ACSR are widely used in overhead power transmission and distribution lines in different voltages.

3) Structure and Functions of Each Part

ACSR is stranded by aluminum wire and steel wire and applicable to overhead power transmission line.

Its inner part is steel “core” to increase the strength, and the outer part is stranded aluminum wire twined around steel wire to transmit power.

Models for ACSR includes: JL/G1A  JL/G1B  JL/G2A  JL/G2B  JL/G3A

Notes:

G1A or G1B refers to steel wire with general strength;

G2A or G2B refers to steel wire with high strength;

G3A refers to steel wire with extra-high strength.
