The compact fastBook Basic from Imaging Solutions is a fully automatic machine for bookbinding. It produces high quality photo books, calendars and greeting cards with the LayFlat technology. Photo paper as well as digital paper can be processed with this bookbinding machine.
It is very time-consuming and expensive to produce photo books manually. The new fastBook Basic bookbinding machine from Imaging Solutions significantly reduces the production time which automatically reduces costs.
In addition to cost savings, the fastBook Basic is easy to operate via a touchscreen menu, saving manpower.
A workflow with 4-in-1 production steps can easily be provided by the fastBook Basic:
- Automatic feeding of single sheets and cardboard
- Creasing
- Folding
- Gluing with purePhoto X-Strong Cleantec Hotmelt glue.
Thanks to the hotmelt Technology, no expensive adhesive foils are needed and production costs can be reduced.
For the production of premium photo prints a cardboard can be inserted between two single sheets.This sandwich-technology provides high-quality calendars and photo books with extraordinary haptics.
Fitted with the innovative LayFlat technology - also known as Leporello fold or panoramic binding - the fastBook Basic produces large photo sizes seamless, without curved pages or image loss in the center. For an extraordinary impression, the illustrated pictures are fully displayed with a perfect panoramic spread.
The system is designed for entry-level volumes and single-shift-operation.
