The main function of hot gas generator (HGG) is to provide the coal mill with hot dry gas.The main function of hot gas generator (HGG) is to provide the coal mill with gas of temperature at 220---260, aiming to dry off coal powder (coal fine). HGG increasingly plays an important role in stabilizing the gas supply of low oxygen content (normally less than 8%) and dryness and hotness when soft coal fine is injected into blast furnace. SSIT is capable of supplying HGG with small volume, less refractory material, new structure, and rapid start and stop mechanism while the dry gas supplied is uniformly mixed, contains low oxygen of less than 8%, and with temperature at ideally high levels. HGG is constructed with unique burner, refractory-lined combustion chamber, fire wall, mixing holed inner sleeve and mixing chamber where gas from blast furnace is mixed and burned, generating a hot gas ready for coal mill.
