Pulverized coal injection technology has been widely applied to blast furnaces since the 1960s and become the trend of iron making technology worldwide. It is an important way to save coke, give tuning of furnace-inside conditions and reduce consumption. The pulverized coal injection technology we supply has the advantages of large volume of pulverized coal injection and low coke ratio. The capital investment for the whole system can be recovered within one year.
Unique Features of Pulverized Coal Injection Technology
- Increased burning rate by blending and mixing different types of coals
- Reduced energy and noise by using roller mill
- Energy-saving and anti-explosion by using hot furnace gas as carrying and drying gas
- Primary dust collection by bag-house to eliminate first-stage and second-stage cyclone collectors
- Totally negative pressure environment by using one-stage blower
- Direct blowing technology with blowing and pulverized coal making in the same workshop
- Blowing jars are connected in series and parallel
- Even coal output, pulse-free and wear-resistance of coal conveying pipes by using fluidized vessel and dense-phase transporting
- Pulverized coal is sent to all tuyeres by distributors on the main pipe
- Closed and automatic pulverized coal flow rate control by applying capacitance flow rate meters on main and branch pipes
- Increased pulverized coal burning rate by using oxygen-coal injection lance for partial oxygen enriching
- Oxygen leakage prevention by installing oxygen and safety control system
