Function of stainless steel sand barrier
Field survey found that when the stainless steel sand barrier for railway fence is 1.5M high, aperture ratio 40%, it can block half of the sand that falls on the windward side, the other half of the sand goes through the barrier and falls on the leeward side. Thus the stainless steel sand barrier for railway is protected from collapsing. It forms a flat near the barrier to slow down the wind speed. The sand will eventually stop at the railway fence evenly and forms a sand resistance dike (artificial dike) which has a significant effect of sand blocking.

Principle of stainless steel sand barrier
Vertical stainless steel sand barrier is mostly sand accumulation type stainless steel sand barrier . The sand prevention principle is mainly as follows: on the sand flow route, no matter any obstacles blocking is encountered, wind speed will be reduced. Part of sand carried by wind will be deposited in front and behind the obstacles. Thus the capacity of wind transport of sand is reduced so as to achieve the effect of sand control. In addition, vertical stainless steel sand barrier can be designed in multiline to get a better desertification prevent and control.
In desert area, the road and railway is likely to be buried by sand,which will affect the normal traffic, or even cause traffic disruption.
