With the ultra-fast data processing speed of DIGIC 6, signal-to-noise ratio is drastically improved to achieve excellent image quality with virtually no noise. Improved high ISO shooting up to ISO 12,800 facilitates easy shooting at low-light situations to produce sharp and stunning images. DIGIC 6 also brings enhanced movie shooting performance, supporting Full HD movie recording at up to 60p frame rate1for sharp and smooth moving images.
In addition, the camera supports uncompressed RAW format shooting to retain rich color gradation for post-editing. RAW shooting also supports multi-aspect ratio selection including 1:1, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2 etc to meet the need of high quality production.
