The Canon PowerShot SX530 HS combines the ergonomics and creative versatility of a DSLR with a powerful 50x optical zoom lens.
Powerful Image Processor
Photos are delivered via a High Sensitivity (HS) 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor combined with a powerful DIGIC4+ image processor to produce vivid, low-noise images, and a high-speed burst mode that captures up to 10 frames per second (reduced resolution).
50x Optical Zoom, 100x Digital Zoom
Outstanding flexibility is delivered via the wide-angle telephoto lens which provides an incredible 35mm equivalent focal range of 24-1200mm. The zoom range can be digitally extended to an astonishing 100x thanks to the ZoomPlus lens function.
Optical and Digital Image Stabilisation
The large ergonomic grip is combined with an Optical Image Stabilisation system and complements the telephoto reach by minimising camera shake and delivering sharper results. The Intelligent IS is especially useful in low-light scenarios and when shooting at the far end of the telephoto zoom range. Optical stabilisation is further bolstered by a 5-axis Enhanced Dynamic electronic stabilisation which helps maximise image sharpness across the entire focal range.
