Having been manufactured for quite a few years, Weichai R6160 series products hold a relatively large share in the market of medium-speed diesel engines. For years, R6160 has earned a good reputation and has been enjoying great popularity among customers thanks to its high performance, high reliability, long durability and easy maintenance. Currently, R6160ZC series are the fifth generation of 160 series medium-speed diesel engine developed from X6160ZC family. After an improvement of its configuration and an optimization of its performance as well as an addition of oil pre-provision start-up device, R6160 series can be more easily installed and promise to deliver much better performance with significantly longer durability. 

 

The R6160 series have passed the International Association Classification Society Certificates of CCS, ZY, ABS, GL, BV, DNV , RS and  LR.
